On-premises Data Gateway September 2025 Release

The September 2025 update for the on-premises data gateway (version 3000.286) introduces new capabilities and improvements for data integration in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environments.

New Features

  • Mirroring for Google BigQuery:
    • On-premises Data Gateway now supports Mirroring for Google BigQuery (GBQ), allowing organizations to mirror GBQ projects directly into Microsoft Fabric using the gateway.
    • Provides secure data connectivity between Google BigQuery and Microsoft analytics ecosystems.
    • Requires OPDG version greater than 3000.286.6.
